Siddika Kabir, a great Bangladeshi nutritionist was born on 1935 at Mokeem Bazar, Dhaka. She completed her Master's in Food and Nutrition from Oklahoma State University in United States in 1963. Many of us have seen her on various television shows specially in NTV during her cooking shows. If you seen her shows I am sure her delicious food recipe watered your mouth at least once.
Many Bangladeshi housewives learned to cook by reading her book and watching her. Her book, Ranna Khaddo Pushti is one of the best selling Bangladeshi cooking book. She also received lots of award and recognition for her book. Unfortunately, she passed away on January 31, 2012
